Slide share is a website where you can share power points online and look at other peoples power points! But before you can put your own power points on it you have to make an account. When you make your account you have to come up with a user name and a password. Wen you are done with that, you can have lots of fun with it!

My Accounts!

iGoogle is a account where you have like your own Google. You can put things on the first page such as game to weather on the other side of the globe. One great thing about it is that you can use your own account from anywhere in the world o any computer as long as you have internet! You can also store your favorite websites on it. Then you don't have to remember all the websites.

eMac accounts is a space on a computer that becomes your own aria to work. When I first got my eMac account, I changed my password and my background and a few more things! (I changed my password to ********* by the way!)

Blogger is a way to search for blogs and read peoples blogs and write blogs. A blog is a place where anyone can express feelings through words. And it is almost like a online diary that anyone can read and give comments too!

First class is a type of email I and everyone else at my school uses! It is really good because you can use it from any computer as long as you have internet and have an account! When I use it from school you can search for peoples names that are within the school. it is different from hot mail and G mail and other email programs because on firs class you can take back messages you already sent!

Wikispaces is a place where you can put projects and other stuff on it. It is also a place where you can edit other peoples pages. Our class uses it when we check what we are supposed to do during our computer class. ( Our teacher puts it there for us.)

The Cyclone

Two nights ago, the 16th of November 2007 a huge hurricane broke out over Bangladesh! I didn't know that it was coming. So when it hit I thought that there were bombs exploding. This was because the cyclone blew anything practically that was loose and on the ground and would bee thrown all over the place and some hit my windows. Then it didn't seem bad at all! but the next morning when i woke up, one big tree had fallen over another tree and had pulled all the rotes out of the ground and now both of the trees were on our house. But an hour later our gardener had cut the tree into small peaces and been pulled out out of the reach of the house. We had no power for the rest of the day. And still this was nothing at all compared of what had happened in the southern part of Bangladesh down in Shundarbans and Bandarbans! There hole cities had been destroyed and more than 3,500 people were found dead. Almost everyone in that aria lost their homes. Bangladesh only have 5 helicopters to try to save around 2,000,000 people. NOT POSSIBLE! Luckily many countries have taken action and America for example sent around 85 helicopters here to help.

The picture above shows a picture that was taken when the cyclone hit . it shows a palm tree. And this picture was found here.

The First Day Of Middle School

It was the first day of being in middle school. I was nervous but exited at the same time. Everything started with an assembly where we were introduced to all are new teachers and the middle school principal. I felt so small then compared to when I was in 5th grade. Because then we were the king of elementary school. We weren't scared of any one even though I did have respect for people but I wasn't scared of anyone. Now I was sitting in a bunch of new people I didn't know or had never seen. The day just got worse. We had really long classes that felt like ages just because I was so nervous so I didn't speek much that day. Each class was 85 minutes! When I was finished with the first tree classes i felt a bit more confident because I had already survived more than half of the day, met most of my friends from 5th grade and now finally it was lunch. Me and all my friends headed now toward the cafeteria and talked about what they thought about middle school. Everyone felt the same way as me. SCARY!! Now we had reached the cafeteria. High schoolers were there! No! we quickly garbed a tray in silence and when the food was on our tray we herded for a table.

The rest of the day went ok I guess even though I went home with a bad feling about middle school. But the next day everything was much better. I kind of new were to go. I had met my adviser and he helped me a lot. And I could already open my locker! Everything just went better and better for each day that past. And now I LOVE middle school!
P.s. For all you 5th graders becoming 6th graders, Don't worry. YOU WILL LIKE IT!! =)
